Glen David Systems Company Announces Launch of the Barometer, a Stock Market Tool That Forecast DJIA, S&P 500, and NASDAQ indexes HOUSTON, TEXAS, March 24, 2002- - Glen David Systems Company announces today that it has launched the Barometer, a series of charts and a methodology that can be used to predict the movements of the collective major indices of the U.S. stock market. A new methodology was created to forecast the stock market's popular averages (DJIA, S&P 500, and the NASDAQ) using models that measure traders and investors reaction to news. Data output from the models are converted to a single plot and placed on a chart each trade day relative to the previous day's plot. Boundaries, support and resistance lines are added to the chart according to proprietary algorithms. The Barometer plot interacts with positive and negative boundaries and it's this interaction that is used to predict the collective movement of the stock market. The Barometer has two charts:
