WebFN update

Signup tips. Information you will need the first time you use QuoteStream.

When you start QuoteStream (can take up to 120 seconds depending on connection speed) and have not registered for it, it will display a default screen of pre-selected securities. To use QuoteStream you will have to register.  Here are some helpful tips.

• Point and click the 'register for free... click here' on the top right-side of the control panel. That will start the registration process.
• A subscription level page will be displayed. Select the- trial 14 day free- selection.
• An application for registration form will be displayed. Fill it out.
• The next page informs you that registration is complete and an e-mail will be sent with login information.
• Customer support e-mail will inform you of the USER-ID and PASSWORD.

Additional Information.

• This product requires Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM). Some older computers don't have VM. If you don't get the streaming data, you will need to get VM. Click this link for more information. See FAQ number 8. If you see the default QuoteStream, you have VM.

Click Help on QuoteStream after it is running for directions on how to use. Any changes you make will be saved for your next logon.

WebFN shut down its streaming video operations after nearly three years of broadcasts, making it the latest online video news operation to close. Chief Executive Bob Reichblum informed his staff of 19 that WebFN's parent company, Weigel Broadcasting Co. of Chicago, was removing funding from the streaming video programs, which combined 10 1/2 daily hours of market commentary with taped business shows.

Due to video performance issues (while running QuoteStream) WebFN TV has been discontinued.  You can access the WebFN Website directly and take advantage of their financial news service.
